With a collection of more than 4,000 artifacts, the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum and Planetarium has three galleries showcasing many of these Egyptian artifacts, including four real mummies. The oldest item in the collection, dating back more than 1.5 million years ago, is a stone hand axe—while it’s not currently on display, visitors can view Predynastic pottery that’s more than 6,500 years old. Walk through a recreated ancient tomb, complete with painted walls. This museum is ideal for children and adults ages 8 and up.
