Cabo San Lucas is home to the first glass factory in the Baja peninsula. Visit the Glass Factory in the mornings to watch the artisans blow glass and create incredible pieces of art. There is also a store on site where you can purchase the original works–everything from glassware, figurines, plates and bowls. Originally built to meet the demands of the local hotels and restaurants popping up in the region, the foundry now employs more than 30 artisans who produce 500 one-of-a-kind pieces daily. There are guided bilingual tours, or you can head out on your own. Simply ask any taxi driver to take you to “La Fabrica de Vidrio Soplado.”
