San José del Cabo is a beach destination, so bathing suits and comfortable shorts and shirts are required during the day; pack a sweatshirt for the evenings, when it does cool down. If headed out at night, the local and visiting crowds’ style vary, but the nicer places require jeans and a polo shirt at most. No jacket or tie is ever required, unless you are there for a destination wedding or special event. Overall, San José del Cabo’s style is casual and comfortable.
