The oldest surviving cigar factory in the Caribbean, founded in 1506, produces this locally produced brand of cigars, which are hand-rolled on the island from locally grown tobacco and wraps. At last count, there were nine different varieties of cigars sold. Some premium brands use finer tobacco brought over from the Dominican Republic.
