Santa Ana has a Mediterranean climate, with mild, wet winters and dry, warm sunny summers—ubiquitous Southern California weather. In the winter temperatures are generally in the high 70s to low 60s, and average summer daytime temperatures hit the low 80s to mid 90s. Rainfall totals average about 14 inches per year, most of which falls from November to April (if you’re traveling during that time, bring an umbrella!). For business meetings, a suit and tie is always appropriate; while this is Southern California, Orange County is home to some of the nations top companies, meaning the level of professionalism is high.
