Officially established in 1910, the Saint Louis Zoo celebrated its "Zootennial" in 2010. Open year-round, it's one of the top attended zoos in the nation with 3 million visitors per year. More than 18,000 animals and 700 species live within the expansive rolling hills, lakes and glades of the zoo, located within Forest Park.
