This is the kind of locals-only spot that has all the makings to be a highlight of your trip (assuming you can find it—and you can). Its name means "paradise lost," but here you're going to stumble happily upon live jazz and sometimes rock musical acts, usually on Sundays and Mondays but on other nights too. The good tunes and buzzy bar scene are paired with great Venetian nibbles like fried fish and polenta and bigoli in salsa (spaghetti with fried onions and anchovies). You'll leave late and warmed up all over.
