What to Pack

First impression is a man in a dark suit, white shirt, and red tie. Woman wears a suit also, but with an Hermes scarf. Dress is conservative with the expression of personal taste showing up in ties or scarves. Of course, that doesn’t count curators and artists, designers and intellectuals, of which there are many. But overall, clothing is tailored, practical, and conservative. It’s hot in the summer and can be brutal in the winter, so even if the suit is the same no matter the season, a coat or sunscreen is necessary.
