Stroll around the 90 acres of the Caramoor estate, which was designed for the numerous music events that take place year-round, including more than 70 public concerts. The gardens and the Rosen House at Caramoor have a distinct Renaissance sensibility. No visit to Caramoor is complete without a walk through the Butterfly Garden, which is home to plants that encourage all stages of butterfly development. The orange, yellow and blue hues of the flowers are no accident—they were specifically chosen to match the antique floor tile of the Pavilion. During the summer months, the fountain is flowing and numerous colorful butterflies appear, adding even more beauty to the sprawling grounds.
