For a cold domestic brew, live country and rock 'n' roll music (and maybe even a ride on a mechanical bull), look no further than downtown Albany’s Barrel Saloon Rock & Roll Country Bar. Housed inside a long-vacant bank building, the saloon features a bar room area in front of the stage while a small second floor overlooks the bar below. When it’s nice out, check out the outdoor patio. And while this is a country bar (line-dancing lessons every Tuesday), cowboy boots aren’t required to have a good time.
