It covers 268 acres—the largest public park in the City of Atlanta—and is nestled in a tree-lined residential area. Besides its 6,000-plus-seat amphitheater, the historic park includes a horse park, golf course, tennis center, recreation center, playground, pool and over three miles of walking and running paths. The tradition of elegant picnics has taken hold, and all of Atlanta, it seems, comes out for the concerts. Outdoor concerts run all summer long, rain or shine, so pack an umbrella.
