Located 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta, the park is home to the world's largest piece of exposed granite—a natural wonderland that offers 3,200 acres to explore. Hop on the Summit Skyride, a swiss cable car that will bring you to the top of Stone Mountain for an amazing view of the Atlanta skyline, or test your skills with Sky Hike, one of the nation's largest adventure courses. You can camp, fish, bike, golf and take a ride on a paddlewheel riverboat. If that's not enough, the park has special seasonal events and is home to the world's longest running laser show.
