The downtown area is home to many restaurants, shops and nightlife. The Basque District showcases Boise’s Basque heritge.

The tree-lined boulevards in the North End neighborhood showcase the city’s historic mansions. In the middle of the area is Hyde Park Historic District with boutiques and popular restaurants.

To the northwest you’ll find a mix of old and new neighborhoods. Farmland merges with modern subdivisions in this part of town. The Boise Foothills are set along the north.

The Southwest district is home to Micron Technology and Boise State University.
