This cantilevered waterfront museum was designed by architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro. The museum was founded in 1936 right on the waterfront and has been a staple of Boston culture since. Thursday nights are free admission from 5 to 9 p.m. While you’re there, visit the harbor.
