A winner of several best brunch awards, the Terrace Café may have a line on the weekends, but persistence certainly pays off. A full coffee bar, homemade biscuits and gravy, crumbled Southern pork sausage, s’mores French toast and red velvet waffles reward diners who are patient enough to wait for a table. (Breakfast/brunch lines are rare during the week.) But this upscale version of comfort food isn’t just for mornings. The Terrace Café also serves delicious entrees, such as the wasabi tempura ahi tuna salad and veal Dijon with jumbo lump crab meat.
