David Falk’s beloved Boca recently moved to a new, and much improved, location on East Sixth Street in the former Maisonette space. And these days the cuisine, an Italian-French mashup, is better than ever. To begin with, try the haricots verts salad with a poached egg and bacon or the hamachi crudo with ponzu sauce. When it comes to entrees, the Amish chicken with truffle risotto and chicken jus is always a good bet, or splurge on the pastry-wrapped beef welling with foie gras mushroom duxelle.
