Clevelanda rockin' good time

Just a few steps away from the Art Museum are two more wonderful attractions: The Cleveland Botanical Gardens and the Western Reserve Historical Society (just down the road from the botanical gardens). The Botanical Gardens offers 20 amazing theme gardens outside (in spring, summer and autumn) and much more inside, including an 18,000-square-foot greenhouse containing two ecosystems—the Spiny Dessert of Madagascar and the Lush Rainforest of Costa Rica—including hundreds of plants and small animals, including lots of butterflies. The Historical Society gives a great glimpse of Cleveland’s fascinating past—from a real log cabin to recreated rooms of the late-19th- and early-20th-century mansions of Millionaire’s Row.
