Like a science center on steroids, this multifaceted museum houses natural science exhibits, including beloved dinosaur bones, as well as a planetarium and IMAX theater. The regular exhibits are fun for first-timers, but locals come back again and again for the new installations. Even more crazy fun is the 3-D musical SonicVision at Gates Planetarium, a modern high-tech recreation of the laser light shows of the 1970s set to contemporary groups such as Radiohead and Moby.
