Housed in a narrow space with exposed brick, you could drop Lucca into an NYC neighborhood and it’d fit right in. Luckily for Des Moines residents, they get this restaurant all to themselves. Owned and operated by three-time James Beard nominee Stephen Logsdon, look for traditional Italian dishes with some North African influence. The soft, pillowy gnocchi is spot-on.
