Dublin is located on Ireland’s east coast, situated on a harbor and spanning 115 square kilometers with the River Liffey running horizontally through the center. There is a traditional north-south divide, with the north side generally encompassing working class residential areas and the south home to more upscale neighborhoods, including the shopping and entertainment districts of Temple Bar, St. Stephen’s Green and Merrion Square.
