This fifth-generation apple farm celebrated a century of business in 2011. Founded in 1911, Robinette’s is known for growing and selling its varieties native to Michigan, such as Mackinac, Isle Royale and Grand Traverse. A winery is also on the property, featuring Michigan wines and cider. Stay for lunch and take a bite into warm, apple pie for dessert. Or grab a quart or gallon of cider to go. During the autumn months a corn maze and hayrides join the list of fun activities at Robinette’s. Well suited for adults and children, this rural getaway is a good idea for a family outing or a group containing multiple generations.
