Now a Texas-style gastropub with fabulously tender brisket and homemade sausage, Beaver’s has become a popular hangout in the Heights, just northwest of downtown. Although it’s housed in what was an icehouse for 30 years—serving ice as well as standard-issue beer and food—the bar menu now includes a long list of microbrews and fun cocktails.
