Designer Chloe Dao opened her Houston women’s boutique six years before winning the second season of Project Runway. Even with the subsequent media attention (NBC’s Today Show, Us Weekly, The New York Times and the like), participation in an exhibit at the Smithsonian and multiple sell-outs on QVC, Dao continues to work from here, where she maintains a broad, always evolving assortment of beautiful clothes and accessories. You’ll occasionally find her hosting trunk shows by other up-and-coming designers, too.
