The Maui Arts and Cultural Center is the anchor of the island’s performing arts. The cultural center hosts year- around events with its three entertainment venues and the Schaefer International Gallery, including theatrical performances, concerts, educational seminars and rotating exhibits. Recently, Elton John was on stage at the Alexander and Baldwin Amphitheater and comedians Wanda Sykes and Kathy Griffin performed stand up comedy shows in the Castle Theater.
