The best way to see Key West is by bicycle. The entire island is only two miles by four miles, so there is really no reason to rent a car unless you want to go up the Keys for a day trip. Perhaps the best part of renting a bike is that almost all rental places will bring the bike to you. Bike racks are plentiful on the tiny island—just make sure to lock your bike at every stop. And if you decide to stop at happy hour, most cabs in Key West are equipped with bike racks and will transport them at no extra charge.
