Another well-noted cultural center in the city, the Nike Art Centre provides arts and crafts programs that teach visitors how to create a variety of traditional art such as Adire (dyed textiles), batik textiles, beadwork, painting, carving, embroidery, metalwork, weaving and drumming. Run by Mrs. Nike who has spent more than 40 years training artists and providing opportunities to spotlight up-and-coming talent, her gallery spans three floors and showcases vibrant traditional paintings, carvings and sculptures.
