According to the 2006 census, Lagos is said to be the third largest city in Africa after Cairo and Kinshasa, but more recent estimates put its population between 15 to 20 million residents living within the city’s limits, making it the largest city on the continent. Either way, Lagos is chock-full of people and certainly not the city for those who are claustrophobic and like a little personal space.
