Nigeria’s Film Industry, commonly called “Nollywood,” is the leading entertainment industry in Africa and third largest in the world after Bollywood and Hollywood. It produces an average of 2,400 new films each year, which is roughly 6.5 movies per day. Lagos remains the epicenter and filming location for many of these movies, so definitely ask around for the latest or hottest “Naija Film” currently on the market. These can easily be bought from street vendors for cheap.
