Located on the Heifer International Campus in downtown Little Rock, just across the street from the William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park, Heifer Village provides an interactive glimpse of the innovative work by the world-renowned organization Heifer International to provide livestock and training to families worldwide. The facility’s sustainable and environmentally sensitive design connects thoughtfully to adjacent wetlands, which support native species. Inside, start with The Heifer Story exhibit, which takes you through the organization’s 65 years of work focused on alleviating world hunger. Impressive life-size images share stories of success, and a world map shows where Heifer works around the world. From there, visit the Global Solutions Gallery to see how health care, education, sustainable agriculture and other issues play into chronic hunger and poverty, and how Heifer is making strides in coming up with solutions.
