Opened in 1955, Miami Seaquarium is the longest operating oceanarium in the United States and attracts 500,000 visitors annually. Look for exhibits with sea turtles, seals, seal lions and manatees. Head to Flipper Lagoon for daily dolphin shows, or if you want to get more personal, put on a wet suit and get in the water with the deep-water Dolphin Odyssey program. Be a trainer for a day and get a hands-on, behind-the-scenes experience by working with trainers and assisting with shows.
