“An environment of deeply masculine luxury” is how Tom Ford describes stepping into one of his stores. The Milan flagship store certainly doesn’t disappoint. Set on five floors and 12,000 square feet of what was once Zegna’s boutique, the shop has the look of a friend’s (make that a very stylish bachelor) lavishly decorated villa with lots of marble, vintage theater seats and animal skins. You’ll find not just suits and shoes but also cuff links, riding boots, jewelry, canes, luggage, fur hats and anything else you can think of that a modern man might need. If nothing but the best is for you, head straight to the top floor, which is reserved for made-to-measure clients.
