Sleepy Shorewood got a shot at nightlife when Thief Wine opened a sexy, sleek wine bar and retail shop along Oakland Avenue, a sibling to its Milwaukee Public Market location. The owners, a couple who migrated here from Sonoma and held jobs in the wine industry there, are wine experts, and it shows. Thirty-some boutique, hard-to-find bottles are poured by the glass or in flights, accompanied by cheese and charcuterie if you wish.
