Although clear across town from Harley-Davidson’s corporate offices, the museum is a historical and contemporary look at the motorcycle manufacturer’s modus operandi since its founding in 1903. Historic motorcycles (numbering about 450), accessories and corporate archives are now housed within one space: a contemporary design museum in a 20-acre setting that appeals to riders and non-riders alike. Included in the museum, which was built in 2008, is a sizeable gift shop, as well as a restaurant and café.
