With more than 22,000 plant species, 10 exhibition greenhouses and some 30 thematic gardens, you can easily spend a day strolling through this lush oasis in the city. Both the Japanese and Chinese gardens offer exotic landscapes, with the latter hosting an annual magic of lanterns festival. Meanwhile, the Tree House displays Québec’s abundant forest woodlands. And in the First Nations garden, you can discover the relationship that 10 Amerindian nations and the Inuit nation of Québec have always had with the Earth. Or just spend a springtime afternoon in the Lilac garden.
