Behold the world’s largest museum of technology and natural sciences. With more than 13 acres of exhibitions containing 100,000 invaluable objects, machines, equipment, models and reconstructions, you could spend a week in the museum and still not see it all. Exhibits include items from the Stone Age to the present time, with an emphasis on collecting historically significant objects. You’ll find the first motorized aircraft built by the Wright brothers, the U1 submarine (measuring in at almost 140 feet, it’s one of the largest exhibits), the first program-controlled computer (Conrad Zuse’s Z3) and Karl Benz’s first vehicle operated by a gas engine, built in 1886.
