The Country Music Association Awards, known as the CMA’s, and the Country Music Television Awards, or the CMT’s, are held in Nashville each year. Both feature performances by country’s hottest stars, and the red carpet events leading up to the show guarantee sightings aplenty. The CMT awards are handed out in early June and the CMA’s are presented in November.
