All aboard! Experience Oklahoma’s old Missouri, Kansas and Texas railway. Hop on a real passenger train, red caboose and authentic dining cars that carried earlier generations across the country. The Central Oklahoma Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society was founded in 1972. The museum displays artifacts and equipment that preserve the heritage of the state’s rail transportation in the 19th and 20th centuries. While admission is free to the museum, no experience is complete without a train ride (which does cost money, but it’s worth it).
