The Lan Su Chinese Garden, open year round, provides visitors with a unique cultural experience in the heart of Portland’s Chinatown. Take a stroll through the authentic Ming Dynasty style Chinese gardens, complete with hundreds of native plant species, including bamboo, rare orchids and rhododendrons. Sip on a warm cup of Chinese tea at the garden’s teahouse inside the Tower of Cosmic Reflection or peruse the garden’s photography exhibition. Lan Su hosts events all year, including a two-week Chinese New Year celebration, concerts and art exhibits.
