Le Pigeon is a small, intimate and inviting eatery with no hint of pretense. Diners sit at communal tables or at the bar facing the kitchen. It’s a fine spot for observing chef Gabriel Tucker and his crew cooking up their masterpieces. Beloved by locals since 2006, the honey bacon apricot cornbread topped with maple ice cream is a gastronomic nirvana. And the flat iron steak with perfectly cooked crispy onion rings is spectacular. The romantic décor with gilded mirrors, ornate candlesticks and cast iron tables is delightfully otherworldly.
