Don’t let the quirky menu items, such as the Jedi Mind Trick (an omelet made with spinach, mushrooms and grilled onion) or the Who Ya Gonna Call Ghost Burger, fool you: Julian’s is serious about food. Dinner is great, but go for their brunch. From French toast to seven different takes on eggs benedict (they do one with pork belly and caramelized leek-parmesan grits) and hearty hashes. If you like savory and sweet, try the butternut squash hash with apples and sausage gravy.
