Housed in a renovated warehouse built in 1793, the ambiance is enough reason to visit New River’s, but the menu will keep you coming back. Start out with housemade charcuterie, and be sure to try some of the locally sourced seafood dishes—like Rhode Island codfish and scallops served with beets, fingerling potatoes, fennel and meyer lemon jus. If you’re just looking for a drink, grab a seat at the bar. Crafted from the building’s reclaimed timber, it’s a spectacular place to enjoy a drink.
