Type: History Centers, Nature Centers & Zoos

The mill was constructed in the mid 18th century and ceased production in the 1950s. It now serves as a location for demonstrations and outdoor fun, but the corn grinding and gristmill tours are terrific for children and those interested in the history of this area of the Piedmont region. The tours are available on select weekends March through November. Check the website to be sure you can take a tour while you’re there.
