The National History Museum is quite interesting to the casual observer, and paradise to the history buff. Part of a complex built in 1762, the site has been an arsenal, a military prison and a fort, making it an ideal location for learning about Brazilian history. There are objects galore, including an immense coin collection and extremely early automobiles.
