Just one year after opening in 2011, Pipero Al Rex received a coveted Michelin star for chef Luciano Monosili’s superb Italian cuisine. Located on the ground floor of Hotel Rex, the tiny restaurant has a modern, yet warm feel with interesting light fixtures and silver accents. Although traditional choices such as the spaghetti alla carbonara are fantastic, try the duck breast tartare or sous vide chicken if you have a more adventurous palate.
