The owners of two successful Roman pizzerias, 00100 and Sforno, opened another on the north side of the city. Tonda’s pizzas are baked in a handcrafted wood-burning oven that churns out an impossibly chewy-yet-airy, crisp crust. The fantastic dough is topped with traditional ingredients, and a marina sauce that’s to die for. The restaurant also features a few great starters and trapizzini.
