Costa Rica is known for its wonderful coffee, which continues to be a driving force in the local economy. Whether you are a coffee-lover or not, Britt’s Coffee Tour is a wonderful half-day adventure through a working gourmet coffee plantation. There are a variety of tours available, from the Classic Coffee Tour, which includes a professional coffee tasting (known as “cupping), to the Coffee Lovers tour, which also teaches you how to make a perfect cup from a barista. For chocolate lovers, there is a Coffee & Nature tour, which includes tasting many of their coffee and chocolate blends. The tours are approximately 1.5 hours, and transportation to and from the plantation is available.
