Transportation 101

Getting around Costa Rica can be quite easy, albeit slow, especially with the bus system. You can take a bus for approximately $10 USD to just about any location, but the only downside is there is not one central terminal in San José. Though it is not as efficient as driving yourself, hopping on with the locals gives you an unprecedented glimpse into Costa Rican culture. Just make sure to confirm the time when you purchase the ticket, as schedules tend to change.
