Costa Rica has some of the best coffee in the world, and purchasing coffee from Trebol near the central market is an experience. Pick from a variety of fresh beans and flavors to bring home. While there, enjoy a steaming cup on the spot. If you are purchasing coffee to carry back to the U.S. as a gift or for your own kitchen, it is best to buy whole beans and grind it at home, as grinds in Costa Rica are much finer than what is typically used for coffeemakers Stateside.
