Housed in a beautifully restored shophouse, this is the place to try Singapore’s native Peranakan cuisine and some of its best bak chang (sweet and savory rice dumplings), which are made from an old family recipe. If you time it right, you can catch one of the dumpling-wrapping demos held throughout the day. Kim Choo’s is a casual restaurant, suitable for the whole family.
