Tallahasseeblending city with country

This sprawling 1830s plantation houses 20 structures on its property. In the main house at Goodwood, 95 percent of the artifacts on display have remained there since the middle of the 19th century. Guests can tour the gardens and grounds themselves or enjoy one of the regularly scheduled Main House tours. The gardens have been restored to capture early 20th-century design and presentation and include roses, heirloom bulbs, large Sago Palms, centuries-old live oak trees and magnolias. The charming Fanny’s Garden Café is also located on-site and is a great place to grab a fresh, light bite to eat. Fanny’s is named after Fanny Tiers, who helmed an expansive renovation of the estate.
